The "34" 3 Window Coupe Kit has the true street rod style of the original steel body car, carefully molded in modern lightweight fiberglass. Our body is hand laid fiberglass... and it doesn't stop there.

We use Coremat® in constructing our bodies even though it is expensive and difficult to work with. Coremat® is is a microsphere filled, random laid, chopped fiber polyester fabric with excellent conformability. Laminate thickness can be quickly increased with reduced resin usage, resulting in overall weight savings of 18 to 30% compared with an all-glass lay up. Gel coat appearance is enhanced through the print blocking abilities of Coremat®, which also provides high impact damage tolerance with twice the insulation value of all-glass laminates.
Labor saving with faster laminate thickness building and reduced VOC emissions are also realized with Coremat®. Coremat can be used where other core materials must be deleted to segregate from fasteners, cut-outs and through-hole fittings. It also provides a high degree of screw holding capability. This extra attention to the construction increases the strength of our body and acts as a sound dampener in the completed car.
Our 3 Window Coupe Kit also has return lips on all fenders and body openings for additional strength and to provide a more finished look. Our doors, hood and trunk have inner steel framing completely glassed in for safety, strength and durability.
Our '34 frame features a 2" X 4" rectangular steel design with an X-Member between frame rails to eliminate diagonal stress on the car. Without the X-Member, any frame will have a greater tendency to twist. Eliminating flex in the frame also results in better fit and finish.
Our frame also incorporates steel brace under the dashboard and between the cabin and trunk for greater strength.
The steel brace behind the seats also serves as a solid connection point for the door hinges. Many of today's kit cars simply attach the door hinges to the fiberglass resulting in starbursts in the paint later on.
Our doors, hood and trunk have inner steel framing completely glassed in for safety, strength and durability. When completed, the door sounds solid not hollow when closed.
The running boards are also supported with steel braces in two places making them strong enough to stand on.
Our front fenders have a steel brace to support the fender and provide a solid mount for the headlights.
